Champlain College Spring Career Conference To Highlight Local Employers and Experts
Josee Larocque of Burton Snowboards is Keynote Speaker
Burlington, VT (03/22/2017) — Champlain College's Career Collaborative will hold its 2017 Spring Career Conference and Fair on Tuesday, March 28. This year's day-long event builds on the new expanded format started last fall. It includes a morning keynote address and division-specific panels with alumni and industry experts. The traditional Spring Career Fair will be held in the afternoon with opportunities for full- and part-time jobs, internships, seasonal jobs, professional development opportunities and networking. It is free and open to the public.
"We feel this expanded format adds a new level of professional development for our students and takes it beyond the traditional internship and job fair," said Tanja Hinterstoisser, director of the Career Collaborative. "It reflects our Champlain Connect partnership program with employers and allows us to bring speakers from the community, our alumni and parents to share their professional expertise with our students."
