Sarah Wilkinson Honored In CCM Divisional Honors Night

The Division of Communication and Creative Media proudly celebrated the success of its stellar students during the Honors Night ceremony on Thursday, April 13 by awarding the CCM Dean's Scholarship to nine eligible returning undergraduates and the CCM Excel Award to ten graduating seniors in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Honors Night is an opportunity to publicly recognize and celebrate our students' talent, hard work, and dedication. Wilkinson is a Professional Writing major.

Winners of the Vermont Association of Broadcasters Scholarship were announced, as well as recipients of the Stowe Story Lab Fellowship for aspiring filmmakers and the Juried Student Art Exhibition Dean's Choice Award. The event also featured a Star Art Reception during which honorees, guests, faculty, and staff mingled with student artists as they painted watercolor works of celestial-themed art on site.

CCM Dean's Scholarship: Broadcast Media Production - Kirsten Potts, Sophomore; Communication - Jessica Shultz, Sophomore; Creative Media - Jeremy Partyka, Junior; Filmmaking - Simeon Pol, Junior; Game Art & Animation - Colton Orr, Junior; Game Design - Amanda Gates, Sophomore; Graphic Design & Digital Media - Rachel Farrell, Sophomore; Professional Writing - Jordan Upshaw, Sophomore; and Public Relations - Jadelynn Ye, Junior.

CCM Excel Award: Dillon Delogue, Broadcast Media Production; Sarah Steward, Communication; Ricky Rizzo, Creative Media; Gillian Racine, Filmmaking; Emma Campbell, Game Art & Animation; Levi Rohr, Game Design; Zachary Denis, Graphic Design & Digital Media; Sarah Wilkinson, Professional Writing; Margaret Kuchinski, Public Relations; and Laura Fillbach, MFA in Emergent Media.
