2012 Apr 3

Kayleigh Blanchette a resident of Monro, CT recently helped put on a student theater production at Champlain College entitled 'Lemonade.' In only three months time. Blanchette and more than 30 other Champlain students from all different majors collaborated to produce the 30-minute show. The play, originally a student's senior capstone project turned into Champlain Theatre's first New Works Festival, a place where students can feature their original work on an annual basis.

Blanchette, a Senior majoring in Professional Writing at Champlain was the head writer, director, and producer of the play 'Lemonade.' Blanchette worked with the other students to devise a comedic piece that centered on a group of neighbors and their fight against the distribution of wealth.
