Champlain College student Kaitlin Muro of Westport, CT Recognized as a Finalist in the Royal Society of Art Design Competition

Kaitlin Muro of Westport, CT was named a finalist in the Royal Society of Art Design Competition.

One hundred and forty students entered the competition and only 26 advanced to the finals. The students traveled to The Cooper Union in New York City to present their projects at the competition.

Mariana Herrera took home the Grand Prize as well as three other prizes in the Communication Design category. The Grand Prize winner is awarded a three month paid internship at Thirst in Chicago and a $1000 RSA Leadership Grant. Sydney Moore also received an award.

Champlain College's expansive and forward-thinking BFA program offers designers of tomorrow broad exposure to the concepts and skills needed to become creative designers and problem-solvers in this field.
