Caitlin Mundy of Milford, CT was inducted into the Rho Omicron chapter of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society.

The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work.

To be eligible, students must have a total of eight social work credits completed at Champlain College, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and an achievement of a cumulative 3.25 GPA in a social work course.

The students inducted on November 11 are (pictured from left to right): Chelsea Day, Andrea Tolman, Rachel Measer, Kristin Bischof, Caitlin Mundy, Shelby Dickinson, Alexia-Sylvia Schur-Narula, Alicia Cerasoli, Samantha Hoeltge.

Social Work at Champlain College is part of the Education and Human Studies Division. Students in this division actively work to make a difference in the world around them. Majors in this division include Criminal Justice, Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher Education, Environmental Policy, Legal Studies, Middle School Teacher Education, Psychology, Secondary Teacher Education, and Social Work.
