Caitlin Mundy Participates in International Service Trip to Nepal

Caitlin Mundy, a junior at Champlain College from Milford, CT is participating in a two and a half week international service trip to Katmandu, Nepal. The trip was organized through Champlain College's Center for Service and Civic Engagement provides the Champlain community with a link to the community and Volunteers For Peace, a Vermont-based organization that places hundred of volunteers all over the world each year.

The group will spend their first week helping to build composting toilets, which helps address the need for proper sanitation in the impoverished area they will be working in. The second week will be focused on working with and teaching youth through VIN's Youth Empowerment program.
